Never(Wonder)Land Chapter 1

Curiouser and curiouser? Ha! More like crazier and crazier when it comes to the Joy House Orphanage! Pete, the boy in the attic, is convinced he can fly. Hat-Trick, the psychotic teen in the top hat, tries to skewer people with cutlery. The cook has a hook for a hand and the caretaker’s head swells like a balloon when she’s angry.

Not the most stable place for overly curious Licey, but at least it’s never boring. Dealing with those nuts and six other impossible orphans all before breakfast, has Licey ready to tear out her hair by the roots or burst from the stories they keep planting in her imagination. Problem is Licey might be the craziest of them all!

In a modern mash-up of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Peter Pan, familiar characters are re-imagined into a modern tale resounding with humor, hope, whimsy and the unflinching power of the a child’s imagination.

NEVER(WONDER)LAND explores the complicated world of those who are growing up and the ones who flat out refuse to.
